Sinus Infection (URI / sinusitis)

Sinus infections, or sinusitis, occur when the cavities around your nasal passages become inflamed, often due to a viral or bacterial infection. This condition can cause symptoms like facial pain, pressure, nasal congestion, thick mucus, and headaches. While most sinus infections improve on their own, some may require medical treatment, especially if they persist or are caused by bacteria.
